2008 Marathon of Parallel Programming

The 1st edition of the Marathon of Parallel Programming is an initiative of the DCC/UFMG parallel research group and the SBAC committee to create one special track to undergraduate and graduate students.

The organization expects more than 20 students only in the contest, showing them the importance of the main Symposium and the Parallel Programming to the Industry and Academy.

October 31, 2008: The Marathon will be held on Friday, 31st of October in the morning and will last 6 hours.

It will be held in conjunction with International Symposium on Computer Architecture and High Performance Computing - SBAC-PAD 2008, Campo Grande, MS, Brazil.
